Manila,Philippines{CNN}
The death toll from a bus bombing in Manila's financial district,climbed to five Wednesday,as officials pointed to terror and crime groups in the country's south as a likely source of the attack.The bus was approaching a metro rail station when it blew up.Thirteen people were injured in the attack,authorities said.Gen.Raul Bacalso ,the Philippines,National Police Chief,said the terror angle is being looked at closely durning testimony before a Senate inquiry Wednesday morning.Evidence recovered from the crime scene and the pattern used in the bombing point to a strong possibility that terror or crime groups operating on the southern island of Mindanao,may be responsible for the attack in Makati City,Manila's financial district ,according to Nicanor Bartolome,a regional Police director.The head of the Police investigation task force,Arne De Los Santos,identified the explosive device as an 81 mm mortar,which he said was triggered by a cell phone.It was placed inside a bag that was left under a bus seat,according to Santos,.Mindanao,is a predominantly Muslim autonomous region,which was set up in the 1990 s ,to quell armed uprisings by people seeking an independent Muslim homeland in the Philippines,a predominately Christan country.

The Troubled America:No Peace
America,in trying to hold her place as the greatest power among the nation of Earth,is one of the most troubled countries on Earth today . The world has never before seen the top rulers of the land leaving their offices to visit nations abroad.The purpose of these visits to foreign countries is to make peace with them after years of troubling them.America,brought all of her trouble upon herself,she alone is to be charge with being the cause of the trouble world and people today.America,loves medding into other people's affairs.She just cannot stay out of other people's business,whether they be a two-cents worth soap-box teacher or President , and Kings ,of countries.America's action fit the description of the propehecy {Bible}"The beast has eyes around about".This refers to the mechanical listening devices with which America,listens in on foreign governmental affairs.This also refer to her powerful telescope.America,goes abroad and makes war against other people.Then she charge them with making war against her when she is the one who is guilty of the war-making. The Bible says Allah,{God}will destroy those who delight themselves and making war.

Supreme Court Rejects Troy Davis,Appeal.
Death row inmate wants to prove"actual innocence". Washington {CNN}-The U.S.Supreme Court,has rejected a condemned Georgia,inmate's request that his execution be delayed as he attempts to to prove his "actual innocence's".The Justices without comment on Monday turned aside two separate appeals from Troy Davis,likely setting the stage for the state to set another execution date.Davis,has gained international support for his long-standing claim he did not murder an off duty Savannah Police Officer,more than two decades ago.Monday's ruling is the latest in a case that is procedurally complex but,legally,a simple claim of innocence.Davis,was granted a stay of execution by the U.S.Supreme Court,two hours before he was to be put to death in 2008,and the Court in 2009 ordered the Federal District Court,to take another look at the case.The Court,after holding a hearing in the case. That Court,after holding a hearing to review evidence,ruled in August,that Davis,should take his appeal of its ruling directly to the Supreme Court.Davis,ended up filing with both the 11th.Circuit and the Supreme Court.Davis,ended up filing with both the 11th. Circuit deflected the appeal in November,saying it agreed with the District Court,that the Supreme Court,was the correct place for the Davis,case.Davis, then took his case to the U.S.Supreme Court,in January,filing two pleas.One sought review of the Georgia,Federal Judge's rejection of the innocence claim,and the other asked for a test of the 11TH circuit's refusal to review the case.The Justice on Monday,turned down both pleas without comments.Davis's sister said Monday,that she is ''very disappointed " by the Supreme court's rejection.Martina Coretta,Davis,said Davis attorney told her they would continue to pursue re-petition of the Georgia State,Board of Parole.She said she had not spoken to Davis,about Monday's decision,but expected his attorney to call him soon.Coretta-Davis,said she doesn't want the case to be moved back to Savannah,where Davis,was tired and convicted for the 1989 murder,because she doesn't think he will "get a fair chance " There.

Selma March Changed U.S.
On This Day in history,March 25,1965,Civil rights activists arrived in Montgomery,after walking 54 miles to flight for equal voting rights. Nonviolence changes a Nation-it was 46 years years ago that the Rev.Martin Luther King Jr.,led the Selma-to Montgomery Freedom March.The event went down in history as not only a turning point in the civil rights movement but also one of the most successful-acts of nonviolent protest.The vent remains relevant today because of it historical significance and because of the many parallets between the movement and toady's event in the Middle East,. As I watched the television footage of demonstrators in Cairo's Tahrir Square,make the decision to reduce the violence going on around them by sitting down in the street when word came that thugs from Mubarak,regime,were on the way to break up their really.I was reminded of how it felt in the spring of 1965,to be part of the Selma-to Montgomery,civil rights March,.What we are witnessing in Egypt,should seem strange to American,.For it is nothing less than Egypt's version of the kind of protest that permanently changed our way of life more than 45 years ago.The Selma march,that I was part of began on Sunday,March 21,and had as it final destination Alabama's Capital of Montgomery,.T he March was designed as a nonviolent protest to dramatize the obstacles=legal and illegal-that blacks faced in Selma, and throughout Alabama,when they tried to register to vote.In the racially divided Alabama,of those years,the march,which drew a crowd of 25,000 by the time it concluded with a speech by the Rev.Martin Luther King Jr.,had formidable opposition.Among its angriest foes was the state's Governor,George Wallace,who had come to the country's attention durning his 1963 inauguration when he declared,"Segregation now!Segregation tomorrow!Segregation forever!" President Lyndon Johnson,took Wallace,seriously.Knowing the danger the marchers faced,he federalized 1,800 member of the Alabama National Guard,to help keep the peace.In addition,he sent Deputy Attorney General Ramsey Clark,to Selma,to direct the Justice Department's effort to maintain law and order.but no civil rights demonstration was ever safe in the deep South,of the 1960's.Shortly after the Selma-to-Montgomery,march ended,Viola Liuzzo,a Detroit mother of five,was shot by members of the Ku Klux Klan,as she drove along a deserted stretch of route 80.She was the third death the Selma,protests produced.Before her murder,Jimmie Lee Jackson,a black Alabama pulpwood worker,who had made five unsuccessful tries to register to vote,was fatally shot by State Troopers,after a protest rally,and James Reeb,a Unitarian Minster from Boston,was beaten to death by a white mob. But then,as now,what struck me as special about the Selma March,was the calm that existed side by side with the apprehension.It was reassuring to have king at at the head of the march and to see the care his aide future United Nation Ambassador,Andrew Young, dressed the morning in bib overalls-took to get everyone in tight rows before we left Selma,but what,I think,ultimately gave the march crow its calm was the decision people in it had already made to remain nonviolent and accept the consequences of their actions,no matter how vulnerable that made them.It is a state of mind that for most of us doesn't last very long,But when such change happens, as it did at Selma,and at so many turning points in the civil rights movement,the sense of personal freedom that follows is immense.Threats don't matter,a Hosni Mubarak,like a George Wallace,loses the power to intimidate.

Why Do Miami Police keep shooting Black Men?
Miami Police have shot and killed seven African-American men in the past eight months,and the city blacks community wants a better explanation than " we were doing our jobs and following department policy".The New York Times reports that frustrations have recently surfaced in the form of marches to the Police Department's Headquarters.calls for a Justice Department investigation,and an investigation into the Police Chief's record. Not helping the perception of the force,a video leaked showing Miami Police Officers breaking down doors hauling handcuffed African-american suspects off the streets,and proclaiming "We like to hunt".To make matters worse,community leaders say two of the men Police shot were unarmed,but the concern and outage about go deeper than the facts of the specific shootings.Residents{and Representative Frederica S.Wilson,a Democrat from Miami,who wrote a recent letter to Attorney General Eric H.Holder Jr.,asking the Justice Department,to investigate the issue]think there's something seriously wrong within the Police Department.they want answer about the pace of the inquiries into the shootings,why an Officer who shot and killed two men within nine days while under investigation for stealing seized cell phones returned to his job instead of being assigned to desk duty,and whether Police Chief Miguel A.Exposito,is confident to do his job. The Chief's response to the uproar?{"We're trying to get violent crime under control in the community,unfortunately when you do that,you will be confronted by people who are armed and dangerous". We're guessing that until black residents of Miami,get some answers,they probably agree with that statement but add that many of those"armed and dangerous"violent criminals in the city wear uniforms.And they get away with murder.

President Obama sent this letter to Congress
The White House,office of the Press Secretary:Release March,21,2011. Dear Mr. Speaker:[Dear Mr.President:] At approximately 3:pm Eastern time Daylight time,on March 21,2011,at my direction,U.S.Military forces commence operation to assist an international effort authorized by the United Nation{U.N.}Security Council and undertaken with the support of European allies and Arab partners,to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe and address the threat posed to international peace and security by the crisis in Libya,as part of the multilateral response authorized under U.N.Security Council Resolution 1973,U.S.Africa Command,began a series of strikes against air dense systems and military airfields.For the purposes of preparing a no-fly zone.These strikes will be limited in their nature,duration,and scope.Their purpose is to support an International Coalition as it takes all necessary measures to enforce the terms of U.N.Security Council Resolution 1973.These limited U.S. action will set coalition partners. United Nation Security Council Resolution 1973,authorized Member States,under Chapter vii of the U.N. civilians and civilian populated areas under threat off attack in Libya,.United States military efforts are discrete and focused on employing unique U.S. military capabilities to set the conditions of our European Allies and Arab Partners to carry out the measures.Authorized by the U.N.Security Council Resolution. Muammar Qaddafi,was provided a very clear message that a cease-fire must be implemented immediately.The international community made clear that all attacks against civilians had to stop. Qaddafi ,had to stop his forces from advancing on Benghazi;pull them back from Ajdabiya,Misrata,and Muawiya;and establish water,electricity,and gas supplies to all areas.Finally,humanitarian assistance had to be allowed to reach the people of Libya,. Although Qaddafi's Foreign Minister,announced an immediate cease-fire,Qaddafi,and his forces made no attempt to implement such a cease-fire,and instead continued attacks on Misrata,and advanced on Benghazi,.Qaddafi's, continued attacks and threats against civilians and civilian n populated areas of grave concern to neighboring Arab Nation and expressly stated in U.N.Security Council Resolution 1973,constitute a threat to the region and to international peace and security.His illegitimate use of force not only is causing the deaths of substantial numbers of civilians among his own people,but also is forcing many others to flee to neighboring countries,their by destabilizing the peace and security of the region.Left unaddressed,the growing instability in Libya,could ignite wider instability in the Middle East,with dangerous consequences to the national security interests of the United States.Qaddafi's,defiance of the Arab League,as well as broader international community moreover,represent a lawless challenge to the authority of the Security Council and its efforts to preserve stability in the region.Qaddafi,has forfeited his responsibility to protect his own citizens and created a serious need for immediate humanitarian assistance and protection,with any delay only putting more civilians at risk. The United States has not deployed ground forces into Libya,. United States forces are conducting a limited and well defined mission in support of international efforts to protect civilians and prevent a humanitarian disaster,accordingly,U.S.Forces have targeted the Qaddafi,regime's air defense systems,command and control structures,and other capabilities of Qaddafi's armed forces used to attack civilians and civilian populated areas,we will seek a rapid,but responsible,transition of operations of coalition,regional,or international organizations that are postured to continue activities as may be necessary to realize the objectives of U.N.Security Council Resolution 1970 and 1973. For these purposes,I have directed these action,which are in the national security and foreign policy interests of The United States,pursuant to my constitutional authority to conduct U.S.Foreign relation and as commander in the Chief and Chief Executive. I am providing this report as part of my efforts to keep the Congress fully informed,consistent with the War Power Resolution.I appreciate the support of the Congress in this action. sign Barack Obama

If folks give you a hard time for wearing cowboy boots with a suit,tell them to get off their high horse.
WEST MEETS EAST: I'm from Texas,and grew up wearing cowboy boots with suits.It was never an issue until I moved east,where I get snide remarks almost daily.Is my look unacceptable out here,or am i just surrounded by a bunch of stiffs? In Texas,the wearing of boots is a matter of pride-Lone Star patriotism.My friend Bill Jones,the mayor of Houston,who's running for Senate,wears'em with suits.I think they make some people more comfortable with him{he did go to Harvard},but they also make Bill,an inch or two taller,which,as we all know,helps when you are running for office.In any case ,it is quite acceptable in the South and West to wear boots with suits.Now,it may be that in the East you're surrounded by secretly jealous stiffs who would probably make fun of monkstraps,too.Or a bow tie.Conformists have a narrow range of tolerance.I am from Manhattan,and I no longer own cowboy boots,but back when I was riding a Triumph Bonneville,I considered them an attractive alternative to motorcycle boots.And in a reductive age when we watch men's options dwindle even further,it's nice to see a little folkloric twist to a gentleman's kit.
