Redford: Palin benefits from 'how limited she is'

Redford: Palin benefits from 'how limited she is'Actor, director and environmentalist Robert Redford is offering his view on Sarah Palin's quick rise to political stardom, saying the former Alaska governor benefits by "how limited she is."
Speaking to the AOL blog PopEater, the legendary actor says the country's electorate is largely divided into three separate groups: "traditionalists, cultural creative people and the moderns."

Traditionalists, the group Redford says are drawn to Palin, "are the people who don't want change, they're afraid of change therefore they have anger - the fear card is a very big powerful card and when you have people afraid of change; they'll do anything to prevent it."
"They're doing it because they're limited, frightened of people who are not as limited. I think Sarah Palin, part of her strength is how limited she is," Redford concluded.
Redford is currently promoting "The Conspirator" – the new movie he directed about the aftermath of the Assassination of President Lincoln.
